Dalian conducts mandatory verification of electric vehicle charging pile metering
In recent years, with the gradual promotion of new energy vehicles, the large-scale construction and operation of supporting public electric vehicle charging stations have also been carried out simultaneously. Charging stations involve issues of electricity measurement and fee settlement, which are closely related to the vital interests of a wide range of electric vehicle consumers. To ensure that the city carries out mandatory verification of electric vehicle charging stations with legal and technical support, the Dalian Market Supervision Bureau actively coordinated and guided the statutory metrology verification institutions to establish two public metrology standards: the "Electric Vehicle Non-vehicle-mounted Charger Verification Device" and the "Electric Vehicle AC Charging Station Verification Device," and obtained the public metrology standard assessment certificates. These standards were used to transfer measurement values to 2,031 electric vehicle charging stations operating in the city. Charging stations that failed verification were required to be promptly rectified by their respective units and could only be put into use after passing re-verification, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the energy measurement values of the charging stations.
