Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation decided to implement mandatory product certification (CCC certification) management for electric vehicle power supply equipment. Starting from March 1, 2025, certification applications will be accepted; from August 1, 2026, electric vehicle power supply equipment without CCC certification certificates and certification marks shall not be manufactured, sold, imported, or used in other business activities.

4. Which Certification Bodies or Laboratories Can Carry Out the Work?
Designated certification bodies shall formulate certification implementation rules based on the CCC certification general rules and corresponding product implementation rules, and file them with the Certification Supervision Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation before carrying out certification work.
Note: It is planned to designate 5 certification bodies and 20 laboratories.
5. How to Apply for Charging Pile 3C Certification Bodies or Laboratories?
Certification bodies and laboratories willing to apply should submit online applications (http://cccxzsp.cnca.cn) before 17:00 on December 27, 2024. The designation decision is expected to be announced before the end of February 2025.
