Zhejiang: Accelerate the development of the new energy vehicle industry and build more than 100,000 public charging stations by 2025

On January 29, Zhejiang Province issued an action plan to accelerate the development of the new energy vehicle industry. The plan proposes that by 2025, the industrial cluster development layout will be further optimized, the industry scale and competitiveness will rank among the top in the country, the annual production of new energy vehicles will exceed 1.2 million units, accounting for more than 60% of the province's total automobile production, the production of new energy vehicles will account for about 10% of the national total, and the local supporting rate of key components will be significantly improved.
Promote the construction of new infrastructure. In regions such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shaoxing, Jiaxing, and Huzhou, take the lead in building 5G-V2X vehicle networking, implement smart highway network construction projects, urban road intelligent transformation projects, and support road testing of autonomous vehicles on sections or areas with the necessary infrastructure conditions.
Encourage enterprises to build battery swapping stations, establish a provincial-level charging infrastructure management platform, promote the digital application of "One-Click Find Charging Pile" on the Zheli Office platform, and accelerate the formation of a charging network that is moderately advanced, mainly fast charging with slow charging as a supplement. Orderly promote the construction of a reasonably laid out, safe, and efficient provincial hydrogen refueling network system. By 2025, more than 100,000 public charging piles and 50 hydrogen refueling stations will be cumulatively built.
The plan states that the comprehensive electrification of public sector vehicles will be promoted, with the proportion of new energy vehicles in newly added or replaced buses, taxis, and logistics delivery vehicles not less than 80%, and the procurement proportion of new energy vehicles for official vehicles reaching 100% except for special scenarios.
